Update on Goal #7 - Coupon More Efficiently

A quick update on my 2011 goals - specifically #7 - Couponing More Efficiently.

In general this is still hit or miss. However, today's shopping trip blew my previous trips out of the water. I got all 30 items pictured above for $12.01 out of pocket. The original total was about $35 before coupons and the mega deal savings that is ending today. My percentage saved was 72% and was my highest total in a long time if not ever.

The thirty items are:

• 12 Bottles of Powerade (0.13 each after mega deal and coupons)
• 3 boxes of spaghetti (free after mega deal and coupons)
• 1 box penne pasta (free after mega deal and coupons)
• 6 cans of Red Gold diced tomatoes (2 cans free after coupons, 0.25 for other 4 cans)
• 7 boxes of Pasta Roni (0.79 after mega deal savings)
• 1 bottle of Axe Shampoo (3.99 after mega deal savings)

Watch for more updates on my 2011 goals in the coming days.

Blessings!
