Today I have to admit that the only thing that really stood out to me was how far Solomon fell. When he was younger he sought God's wisdom and was considered one of the most wise men in the world. As he grew older though, he allowed his foreign wives to influence him and he turned away from God. As a result, the kingdom of Israel was torn away from his family. God is faithful to us always - but we must be faithful to Him as well.
