Verses that stood out:
1 Chronicles 16:25
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He to be feared above all gods.
1 Chronicles 16:34
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
Both of the verses that stood out to me today come from a section called "David's Song of Praise." Both verses have great reminders for why we should praise God and give thanks to Him. He is a fear-inspiring God, but His love endures forever. There are many things in our world today that could be considered "gods" to us - money, tv, internet, people, etc...the list could go on and on. But God's greatness is so worthy of praise. If there is anything the trials of the Israelites should teach us it is that when we don't follow his rules and guidelines - there are consequences. Thankfully, because he is also a loving God, he gives us chances to change our ways and his love endures forever. Praise God for his faithfulness!
Blessings!
